Meet Dr. Ronak J. Shukla, D.M.D

Dr. Ronak J. Shukla, DMD, moved to the United States in 1991 and has been a Florida native since 1992. He completed his undergraduate degree at University of Florida in 2008, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. He continued his education with the University of Florida at the College of Dentistry to earn his DMD degree.

Following graduation, he went on to complete a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program also affiliated with the University of Florida in St Petersburg, Fl. Dr. Shukla went through extensive training in dental implants, sedation dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and complex restorative dentistry. He became a Fellow with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists during his time at the residency, as well as completed the entire core curriculum with the Dawson Academy.

Dr. Shukla is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, The West Coast Dental Association, the Pinellas County Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Currently, Dr. Shukla is working to attain his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and has put in over 400 hours of continuing education in a short period of 2 years. He continues to complete additional continuing education courses in restorative, surgical, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Shukla likes to stay very active on his free time and enjoys all sports. He currently plays soccer in the Tampa Bay Club sports league, tennis at the St. Pete Racquet Club, and working out. His parents live in Lake City, Florida and his brother is a vascular surgeon for the Bay Pines VA in Seminole, Fl.
